SAFETY OPERATIONAL INSTRUCTIONS

FLIP TOP DOG REPELLENT STREAM


For your safety, please read this information thoroughly before attempting to use this product.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

This product is for use against aggressive dogs only. When threatened by a dog, lift up safety cover. Hold the unit upright in either hand so that the spray orifice (top and front of the unit) is facing directly at the dog's face. Depress the top of the unit with your thumb to actuate the spray. The spray will discharge from the unit to a range of three meters.

To stop the spray, release thumb pressure from the top of the unit. It is important to use short bursts of spray for maximum effectiveness! Upon contact, Bodyguard Stream Dog Repellent will affect the dog's eyes, respiratory system and mucous membranes resulting in temporary impairment of vision and coughing. Symptoms will subside in about 35-45 minutes.

PRECAUTIONS:

Contents under pressure. Container may explode if heated. Do not place in hot water or near radiators, stoves or other sources of heat. Do not puncture container or store at temperatures over 50° C. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and inhalation of spray. Wash hands before touching eyes or face and prior to using the washroom. Persons with respiratory problems or wearing contact lenses should not use this product. While travelling, do not store in passenger compartment. Contact air carriers concerning transport.

FIRST AID:

If on skin or clothing: Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a poison control centre or doctor for treatment advice. If in eyes: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control centre or doctor for treatment advice. If inhaled: Move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration, preferably by mouth-to-mouth if possible. Call a poison control centre or doctor for further treatment advice.Take container, label or product name and Pest Control Product Registration Number with you when seeking medical attention.

TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION:

Treat symptomatically.

DISPOSAL:

Do not incinerate. Reduce pressure to zero prior to disposal in regular household garbage.

To ready the unit, turn actuator tab 45 degrees from the safety to the ready position directly over the cut in the main body.
